Objective: Formation of STPCs at state levels and NTPC at national level.
Timeframe:Both the workshops will be held in the second year of the project.
Methodology: Both the workshops will be in the nature of advocacy.
A specific workshop involving key stakeholder groups (state government officials and other stakeholders) will be organised in each state in the second year of the project (tentatively between April-June 2006). It will be in the nature of an advocacy workshop for the formation of STPC. Similarly, a specific workshop involving key stakeholder groups (state government officials, central government officials and other stakeholders) will be organised in New Delhi in the second year of the project (tentatively in July 2006). It will be in the nature of an advocacy workshop for the formation of NTPC.
