In each country, a National Reference Group will be created, having representatives from diverse stakeholders, such as policy-makers, business community, civil society organisations, consumer groups, media. National consultations will deliberate on issues relating to economic cooperation between India and the Greater Mekong Sub-region countries and will help in raising awareness and capacity building.
The dates decided for holding the National Countries in partner countries are as follows:
- Cambodia: 23 August 2005
- Laos: 25 August 2005
- Vietnam: 29 August 2005
- India: 31 August 2005
