Under RISTE project, state/country level workshops were held in the month of November 2013 at each of the four Eastern Indian State partner (Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal) and in Bangladesh. These workshops were held so as to disseminate the state level findings of the project desk and field research undertaken by each partner. The workshops were attended by key stakeholders including state seed associations, state level policy makers, farmer’s associations etc. and their active participation not only made these workshops a success but also helped in gathering the perspective of the stakeholders which will be incorporated further in the project approach in order to make it more effective and real.
